Probing minibands in gated graphene superlattice by magnetic focusing

Graphene is an excellent base for gate-induced superlattices (SLs). Periodic modulation of the on-site energy was shown to lead to the reconstruction
of the band structure and formation of higher-order Dirac cones. What remains unexplored in gated SLs so far is the transport at weak magnetic fields.
The main focus of this presentation is a theoretical study of transverse magnetic focusing (TMF) in a 2D square SL for probing the mini band structure [1].
Our modeling paves the way to band structure engineering in graphene.
