Application Deadline: The department accepts applications until May 31st, 2024 (Friday). The application will be closed early if funds are exhausted.
1. Recipients
Local students of NCKU (Physics Department) who participate in TOEIC (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing), TOEFL, IELTS, National English Ability Classification Test, Cambridge University Interchangeable Language Certification, or related English proficiency tests during their academic period. Those achieving a level of B2 or higher in ALL listening, speaking, reading, and writing are eligible for rewards.

2. Explanations
(1) Subsidies are for individuals who achieve CEFR B2 or higher in all listening, speaking, reading, and writing in the above-mentioned English proficiency tests.
(2) Each person is limited to receiving rewards for achieving both CEFR B2 and C1 once during their academic period.
(3) The grading standards and subsidy amounts for reward tests are detailed in Annex 1.
(4) Local undergraduate students who participate in the English proficiency tests but fail to achieve CEFR B2 or higher are eligible for a one-time subsidy of one-quarter of the registration fee during their academic period.

3. Application Instructions
(1) Application Documents:
   (i) English Proficiency Test Fee Reward Application Form
   (ii) Original and copy of student ID (to be returned after verification)
   (iii) Receipt of payment for English proficiency test
   (iv) Original and copy of English proficiency certificate or transcript (to be returned after verification)
   (v) Copy of the applicant's postal bank account cover
(2) If the name on the English proficiency certificate or transcript is in English, additional identification (such as passport, etc.) should be provided for verification.
(3) Application Deadline: Follow the regulations set by the department.
(4) Hard copies of the above documents are preferred. If electronic transcripts or certificates are used, please print it out for submission.

4. Funding and Related Expenditure Matters
(1) The funds are provided by 'Higher Education Bilingual Learning Project', Ministry of Education.
(2) The department/unit of the applicant will handle the verification of relevant documents and expenditure matters.
(3) For other related regulations, please refer to the regulations of the department/unit, which the applicant belongs.
