Imaginary images: FRBs, quantum mechanics and quantum cosmology

Wave coherent phenomena require solving a numerically challenging oscillatory path integral.  Picard-Lefshetz theory provides an alternative tool using the language of thimbles, which continuously describe the transition from the wave optics to the classical (geometric) limit.  I report an overview and summary of recent results, including limits on compact dark matter.
